Let’s take a moment away from the Imperium winning at Eve to look at the Imperium winning in another game: Atlas Reactor. Atlas Reactor is most simply described as turn based team arena PvP. Simple, right? Not at all. “Turn based” may make it sound like you can take your time, but that’s not the case. Atlas Reactor is a game that relies on quick thinking, and sharp instincts. Not only that, but each team needs a unified strategy to be successful. It’s these very qualities that have pushed the Imperium Atlas Reactor team to the No. 1 rank in the Prep Phase League!

Prep Phase League (PPL) is a player run league which has been active since not long after the game release. With the 4th season now underway, PPL has positioned itself as the premiere Atlas Reactor league. This past weekend marked the 4th week of the second split in the tourney, and saw the Imperium team sweep the competition! Imperium team captain FitzIntent was pleased with the four straight victories that landed them the No. 1 rank in PPL. He was quick to note, however, that there are still a couple of weeks left in the second split. The second split finals will be held on the 1st and 2nd of July, followed by a World Tournament. The World Tournament will pit the best teams in both North America and Europe against each other, so expect to see the Imperium there!

FitzIntent feels that proving yourself in-game is the best way to get yourself on the team: “Honestly? Play the game. Prove that you have what it takes. It may not look like it, but 20 seconds is not nearly enough when you have four enemies and your own allies to take into account, even when these allies are on voice comms.
